Why CozySoft?
Almost every tool at CozySoft started as a personal problem I couldn't find a beautiful solution for. I didn't want bloated feature lists or cold, technical interfaces.
I only build for the Apple ecosystem — iPhone, iPad and Mac. Not out of dogma, but because it's where I feel at home and because the platform stands for the same values I care about: craftsmanship, consistency, and respect for the people using my apps.
I wanted software that feels like a handcrafted piece of furniture: functional, honest, and made with love for the details.
Apps are more than features — they're companions. They shouldn't stress us out, they should support us and bring a little joy.
Why this is possible for me now.
Honestly? I was never a real programmer. Decades ago I dabbled in BASIC, JavaScript, Perl and PHP, and later I picked up a little Python — but software that feels like what CozySoft makes would have been completely out of reach for me on my own.
What I am good at: describing ideas and concepts precisely, questioning them, testing things and throwing them away until they're right. That's exactly where modern AI tools and what people now call vibecoding come in. I describe what I have in mind; the AI helps me translate it into working code. Then I look, test, refine — and piece by piece, apps emerge that feel exactly the way I want them to.
The result isn't „AI-generated software". It's software where every design decision, every feature and every tiny detail comes from me — just with a tool that is finally fast enough to keep up with what's in my head.
